2017 Ewan Millar Oboe Ewan won woodwind category final in the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2020. He gained a First Class degree in music at Oxford, and now studies at Royal Academy. He gives numerous concerto and recital performances.

2013 Joel Ashford Horn Joel has played for many of the UK’s leading orchestras including ENO (including Principal), BBC SO, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, CBSO, English Chamber Orchestra, English National Ballet, London Chamber Orchestra, LPO, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, RPO, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. He is currently on trial as Sub-Principal with the BBC Concert Orchestra.
2012 Martin James Bartlett Piano Martin reached the keyboard finals of the BBC Young Musician of the Year twice, becoming the outright winner in 2014. In 2015 he was one of the youngest ever soloists to debut at the BBC Proms. He signed a recording contract with Warner Classics in 2019: his debut album "Love and Death" contains works by Prokofiev, Bach, Liszt, Schumann, Wagner and Granados.
2012 Akito Goto Cello Akito has appeared as a soloist with London Mozart Players, has performed at Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall, Hamarikyu Asahi Hall and Hakuju Hall. He was the youngest ever winner of the Izuminomori Cello Contest and the youngest participant selected to compete in the 9th Rostropovich Competition. He recently took 1st Prize in the Japan Player's Contest.
2011 Katy Smith Violin Katy was the string finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2010. She has performed as soloist for many leading orchestras and is currently studying at RAM.
