Welcome to the official website of the orchestra of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. As the Chair of the orchestra, I am delighted to introduce you to a vibrant community orchestra dedicated to sharing the joy, excitement and beauty of live orchestral music. Through our inspiring programme of concerts, we perform works by the world's greatest composers alongside lesser-known gems, bringing musicians and audiences together through a shared love of music.
We are also committed to encouraging the next generation of talented performers through our annual Young Musician Concerto Competition, providing outstanding young instrumentalists with the opportunity to showcase their abilities, gain valuable performance experience, and perform with a full symphony orchestra.

Berlioz Requiem
We are recruiting singers for the
Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Chorus (WMSChorus)
Singers wanted! A rare opportunity to perform in Berlioz's epic Grande Messe des Morts in Guildford Cathedral. The Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Chorus will be joining with the Royal Free Singers, the Slough Philharmonic Society, Parenthesis Choir, Maidenhead Choral Society, and the Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra to perform Berlioz's epic Requiem (Grande Messe des Morts) at Guildford Cathedral, Saturday 4th December 2027, to perform the gigantic Choral Work involving massed Orchestra, four antiphonal off-stage brass ensembles, and over 300 Singers.
