We have 9 excellent finalists aged 12 to 19 for the Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra's Young Musician Concerto Competition on Sunday 12th October. Chosen from 32 entries, the 4 pianists and 5 violin/cellos will perform a lovely variety of different concerto extracts (click for schedule).
The standard of the players is amazing and although they may be young they play beautifully, having won international competitions and performed both solos and with orchestras in prestigious venues in the UK and abroad.
Pop into St Piran's Centre Maidenhead SL6 7LZ from 1.30pm during the afternoon to listen (Free entry, no ticket required and refreshments will be available).

The Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra is a high-achieving amateur orchestra based in the Thames Valley. We perform the giants and the lesser known gems of the symphonic repertoire. We play three major concerts each year.
