We present three masterworks of the orchestral repertoire: Strauss in mischievous mood introduces the evening with his depiction of the pranks of the German peasant folk hero Till Eulenspiegel, thereafter the deep rich sonorities of Glazunov and Sibelius resonate round the deepest recesses of Eton's magnificent hall. We are delighted to be joined in this concert by Ana Nedobora, chosen as the winner of the WMSO Young Musicians' Competition in 2008, who studies at the Purcell School in London.
